A very high-profile 55-storey hotel and residences in downtown Los Angeles. Envelex provided fully finished, fabricated and sub-assembled 56,000 m2 (602,840 ft2) curtain wall in CKD sub-assembled form, ready for assembly and glazing at our client’s facility in California. It included 1,000 operable vents fully assembled and structurally glazed with multiple-point locking hardware.
Our client provided the shop drawings from which we procured all die cutting, finished aluminium extrusions, as well as imported gaskets and fastener accessories. We also procured, fabricated, formed and finished 3,000 m2 (32,295 ft2) of 3mm (1/8") thick 3003 H14 aluminium panels.
Crated and sequentially shipped by floor level direct to our client’s facility in California.
