5 Murray Rose Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park (previously 7 Parkview Place). One of Sydney’s first 6-star-rated buildings by the Green Building Council of Australia. Envelex proudly performed a major role in the building’s success through the design, testing, manufacture and shipping of the entire high performance, thermally superior unitized curtain wall façade direct to the job site, complete with all high-performance glazing with unique pattern frit, aluminium composite panel, very colourful terracotta from Germany and large sunshading elements. Stringent testing to the demanding Australian codes proved the design and performance of the curtain wall to surpass the specification requirements.

As mentioned by the New South Wales government of Australia and the Sydney Olympic Park authority, “Other sustainable design features of the development include 100% outside air with 50% improvement on minimum ventilation rates, efficient façade design incorporating high performance glazing with external shading designed to minimise heat load and restrict glare, and cyclist facilities”. A very standout project influenced heavily by Envelex’s experience and abilities.
